This Aluminum hardtop is ideal for those who want the added protection of a hard surface roof but like the open-air feel of their original Humvee® or Hummer® H1. Why Aluminum instead of Steel? We found the OEM Steel Military Version to be highly susceptible to rust - Especially when paired with roof racks and other elements that may require slight modifications to the product. Switching to aluminum creates no difference in the function of the vehicle, while having the added benefits of lighter weight and reduced heat absorption.
